No. The phone does everything. Just download the free companion app, connect to the car’s WiFi signal, and the on-screen controls take over from there. No physical remote and no extra purchases needed.
The camera module on top of the car sends a live WiFi feed straight to the app. Open the app, tap the camera view, and they’ll see exactly where the car is going from the car’s point of view — like a mini FPV driving experience.
Each charge gives about 15 minutes of playtime, and the car charges back up in roughly 30 minutes using the included Type-C cable. Since the phone works as the controller, the car is the only thing that needs recharging.
Most kids can get it running quickly. The steps are simple: download the app, connect the phone to the car’s WiFi signal, open the app, and start driving. The on-screen joystick is intuitive, and lane assist helps the car drive straighter and smoother.
